Definition

Tourism is the travel that undertaken by someone in a limited duration, which they do in places outside their usual environment. Aiming for vacation, study, religious purposes, mission, and business.
And the person who doing this activity are called as tourist.

There are so many types of tourism, one of them is cultural tourism. Cultural tourism is the subset of tourism concerned with a country or region's culture. It includes tourism in urban areas and cultural facilities such as museums and theaters. It can also include tourism in rural areas showcasing the tradition and their values and lifestyle. In other words, cultural tourism is the primary motive for visiting a destination and the tourist has a very deep cultural experience.

The Importance of Cultural Tourism

Cultural tourism is an important tool for celebrating, preserving, and promoting a state's unique heritage. It automatically affect in states's economy. It also bring in frequency currency, allows for cultural exchanges between people and creates many working places for the citizens.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Cultural Tourism

The advantages of cultural tourism are attracts more people to the area, allow the world to see what that particular country has offer for immigrants, visitors, and the like, creates jobs for local, and promotes the country and possibly contribute to increasing revenue and investments in the country.

And the disadvantages of cultural tourism are the tourist may destroy the environment, they may litter in the country, and even might steal things from the country.
